Recipes for yummy and nutritious fruits and vegetable puree

Apricot Puree

Apricote puree

Delicious fruit Full of beta-carotene, fibers, vitamin C, vitamin A, and Potassium.

Ingredients

1 pound apricot

2 cups pear juice, grape juice or apple juice

Directions

  1. First, boil the ingredients in a saucepan.
  2. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Transfer the contents into a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Add water if needed to reach desired texture.

Mango Puree  

Mango contains protein, fibers, vitamin C, vitamin A, folatevitamin B6, vitamin K and potassium.

Ingredients

1 ripe mango (peeled, de-seeded, chunked)

Directions

  1. Blend the mango chunks in a food processor.
  2. Add in water, breast milk or formula milk.

 

Sweet Potato Puree 

Sweet potatoes are high in vitamin A, vitamin B5, B6, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, and, due to their orange color, are high in carotenoids

Ingredients

1 sweet potato (peeled, de-seeded, chunked)

Direction

  1. Cook until soft (about 15 minutes)
  2. Transfer the contents into a blender and add water, breast milk or formula milk.

Banana Puree 

Banana contains great nutritious addition to your baby's diet like vitamin B-6, manganese, vitamin C, copper, fiber, and potassium

Ingredients

1 Banana

Direction

  1. Blend the Banana chunks in a food processor.
  2. Add in water, breast milk or formula milk.
